- Will you walk us through the installation process?
- The PNE installation process is designed for your company's IT manager and
is intended to be easy by those standards. If you are unable to install PNE
based on the instructions in the manual, then the
Professional Edition is probably a more
suitable solution for you.
- What happens if we want to switch to the Professional Edition later?
- There will be a data migration path from PNE to Professional
Edition.
- What if I want more PNE licenses?
- No problem! Just send us an
email to <pnepurchase@e***rp*d.com> with your license and billing
information and we will be happy to add more users to your account.
- Is PNE Secure?
- The Private Network Edition was designed with the
most rigorous security model in mind. PNE is downloaded and run on your
servers and behind your firewall-- there is no more secure model in the
business.
- What happens if we do not renew our support contract?
- Without a
support contract, you will still be entitled to minor upgrades and bug fix
releases.
- Do you provide educational or non-profit discounts?
- Yes. EtherPad is
committed to helping educators and non-profits to collaborate
better. We offer both a 30% discount. To qualify and receive a discount
code, simply email us at <nonprofits@e***rp*d.com>. Please include
your name, the name of the organization you work with, the number of licenses,
and point us to a website or some form of external verification.
- If we don't like PNE, can we get a refund?
- We offer a 30 day free trial. All purchases after that are final.
- I lost my license key. How can I get it back?
- Follow the instructions on the license key recovery
page.
